What happened?

The more observant of you may have noticed that I did not publish a Motherhood Manual post today.  No, you do not get a prize, but you can sit there feeling smug that you noticed.  Nice work.

I thought about trying to whip out a real quick motherly post.  Then I thought about explaining that I just didn’t get around to it.  Next I thought I’d just skip it and carry on as if nothing ever happened.  After that, I realized that what I really wanted to do was use my blog post to brag …and not about anything motherhood related either.  However, it does still have that lovely alliteration for a Monday….

Yep, all you sports nuts, I’m talking about March Madness.  The University of Kentucky plays Kansas in the NCAA Finals for the championship.  Tonight at exactly 6:23 Pacific Time, UK v. KU begins.

Right now, though, the bragging begins.  Remember a few weeks ago when I told you all about the app I was going to use for filling out my bracket?  Well, my family and I filled it all out… along with hundreds of thousands of other people.  And, guess what?!?!?  I chose three of the four final teams.  AND, I correctly chose which two would win.  Yes, you are understanding correctly that I picked the two teams that are playing tonight.  My NCAA March Madness app tells me that I am in the 100th percentile (along with about 1500 other people) out of everybody.  I’m pretty sure they all picked the wrong team to win it all though, and I will reign supreme after tonight’s game.   Bragging done.

I’m not going to tell you until tomorrow who I picked to win.  You’ll hear me cheering tonight and then you’ll know.  Grab your dinner and head for your tv; the time is near… 6:23!
